Privacy Policy

Zero-knowledge design. We collect nothing. Your entries are end-to-end encrypted on your device before anything syncs — the same way Apple's own apps work. Your data lives in your iCloud account. Kryven Technologies LLC has no servers, no user accounts, and no access to your data. No account creation required.

If you have opted in to share diagnostics with app developers in your Apple device settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports and performance metrics with us through App Store Connect. This data contains no personal information or entry content — only technical details like which part of the app encountered an issue. You can opt out anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Your entries are stored in two places, both under your control:

Your data is encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM before it syncs to iCloud. Only you hold the keys — we cannot access, view, or decrypt your data.

Metadata Fields

To support sorting, filtering, and display in the app, four metadata fields are stored with Apple's standard CloudKit encryption rather than the app's end-to-end encryption:

• Category — the entry type (e.g. Financial Assets, Real Estate)
• Created date — when the entry was added
• Modified date — when the entry was last updated
• Favorite status — whether you marked it as a favorite

Apple encrypts these fields in transit and at rest, but holds the keys — meaning Apple could technically access them. These fields contain no entry content, personal details, or sensitive information.

Kryven Legacy uses only Apple's frameworks and infrastructure. Your data stays entirely within the Apple ecosystem — on your device and in your iCloud account. We do not integrate with any third-party services that collect, process, or receive your data.

The only external service involved is Apple's iCloud, which you already use and control through your Apple ID.

You have complete control over your data. All of it is in the app — edit, delete, or export it anytime without asking us. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to request from us and nothing to opt out of.

Support Communications

If you contact us for support via email, we may temporarily store your email address and message content solely to respond to your inquiry. This information is deleted after your issue is resolved and is never used for marketing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll notify you by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
